The Licensed Practical Nurse's primary duty is to apply the nursing process in delivering high-quality and consistent nursing care to patients within their homes.

    Responsibilities
  • Fill out and review necessary documentation forms/charts when a guest is admitted, relocated, or discharged.
  • Create a detailed and descriptive documentation of the nursing care rendered to the patient and the subsequent reactions and outcomes experienced by the patient.
  • Notify the Director of Nursing of any observed inconsistencies related to physician orders, modifications in diet, or inaccuracies in charting.
  • Make sure to record any unauthorized discharges in the guest's medical file following the set guidelines for documentation.
    Qualifications
  • An active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license is necessary or a Compact State license is essential.
  • Two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse is necessary.
  • Capable of instructing patients and their families on various medical conditions and possessing strong understanding of medications and expertise in wound management.
