Support process improvement and product integration at Cummins, enhancing decision-making and customer satisfaction.
Your Role:
- Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting process improvements like Installation Quality Assurance and OEM integration.
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts and VPI Teams for product data delivery.
- Developing relationships with customer technical counterparts for technical information exchange.
- Translating customer needs into functional product requirements.
- Advocating for customer/market needs in product development and change processes.
- Ensuring correct product application and installation.
- Validating prototype performance and installation quality.
- Resolving issues for moderately complex components and systems.
- Executing established work processes and systems.
- Contributing to team goals and developing critical competencies.
About You:
- To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Technical Customer Management skills.
- Product Application Support experience.
- Machine Integration knowledge.
- Product Installation Quality expertise.
- Product Selection and Problem Solving abilities.
- Machine Operation and Support skills.
- Customer Focus and Decision Quality.
- Ability to drive results, collaborate, and communicate effectively.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Engineering.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA preferred.
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week internship, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Bachelor's: $3,900 - $4,800
- Master's: $6,000
- PhD: $7,300
